What we found

This is a CORE 6-person lighted dome tent with a 10 ft by 9 ft floor and a 72-inch center height, which is enough room for two queen air mattresses or six sleeping bags. It uses a traditional fiberglass pole setup with a removable, taped rainfly, mesh ceiling panels and an adjustable ground vent for airflow. A battery-powered LED hub light hangs from the ceiling and runs on three D batteries, with high, low and night-light settings, so no outlet or generator is needed; there is also a closable cord port if you do want to run an extension cord inside. Interior storage pockets keep small items off the floor, and the whole thing packs into a carry bag with the poles, stakes and guylines. Suits family car camping, campground weekends and backyard use rather than backpacking, since it is a full-size family tent.
