What we found

This is a shag runner rug from the Emerson line, sold in the nominal 2x7 size, which measures 2'3" by 7'3" (about 27 by 87 inches). The pile is a textured, shaggy synthetic yarn described by the maker as non-shedding, fade resistant and stain resistant, with a jute backing and spot-clean care. It is an indoor rug meant to be laid loose on the floor, and a rug pad underneath helps keep it in place and takes some wear off the backing. The long, narrow shape suits a hallway, an entry, the space alongside a bed, or a galley kitchen where a full area rug will not fit. Measure the run of floor you want covered before coming in, since 87 inches is the finished length.
