GE 30" Under The Cabinet Hood

This is a GE 30-inch under-cabinet range hood in stainless steel, model JVX5300SJSS, made to mount to the underside of a wall cabinet above a 30-inch range or cooktop. It measures 29-7/8 inches wide, 20 inches deep and 5-1/2 inches tall, and runs on a standard 120-volt household circuit, drawing about 2.5 amps. The blower has four speeds plus a boost setting and moves up to 310 CFM, with a 7-inch round duct that can exhaust vertically through the top or out the back; it can also be set up for recirculating (ductless) operation where outside venting is not possible. Other features include electronic backlit controls, dual halogen cooktop lighting with a nightlight setting, dishwasher-safe mesh grease filters, a 15-minute auto-off timer, and support for an optional remote control. It suits anyone replacing a standard 30-inch hood in an apartment or house kitchen, and it needs 24 to 30 inches of clearance above the cooking surface.
