What we found

This is a GE 36-inch under-cabinet range hood in stainless steel, model JVX5360SJSS, made to mount to the underside of a cabinet above a 36-inch cooktop or range. The blower has four speeds with a boost setting and moves up to 310 CFM, and it can be ducted out through a 7-inch round vertical or rear opening or run in recirculating mode with an optional charcoal filter. It runs on standard 120V household power at 2.5 amps and is wired in during installation, with an optional power cord kit available if you prefer to plug it in. Controls are backlit push buttons on the front, there are two halogen cooktop lights with a nightlight setting, an auto-off timer, and dishwasher-safe mesh grease filters. At 35 7/8 inches wide and only 5 1/2 inches tall it suits a standard 36-inch cabinet opening, including kitchens with no outside duct run.
