LG DLG8401BE 7.3 CU FT

What we found

This is an LG DLG8401BE gas dryer, a 27-inch wide freestanding dryer with a 7.3 cu. ft. drum and controls mounted on the rear panel. It runs on natural gas with a standard 120V outlet for the electronics and needs a gas hookup plus a vent to the outside; a conversion kit is required if your line is propane. Features include the EasyLoad door that opens either sideways or downward hamper-style, AI Sensor Dry that reads moisture and fabric to set drying time, Wi-Fi with the LG ThinQ app, Smart Pairing with a compatible LG washer, and FlowSense duct and lint filter indicators. At 42.75 inches tall it fits under a counter or shelf, and the rear controls keep the top surface clear for folding. Suited to a household with a gas laundry hookup that does large loads and wants the sensor and app features rather than manual timed drying.
