What we found

This is an LG 27 cu. ft. side-by-side refrigerator-freezer in stainless steel, with the fresh food section on one side and the freezer on the other. It stands about 70 1/2 inches tall and needs roughly a 36-inch-wide opening, plus a couple of inches of clearance at the back and top for airflow. It plugs into a standard 115V grounded household outlet and requires a cold water line for the through-the-door ice and water dispenser and the ice maker, which produces standard cubes as well as LG's slow-melting round Craft Ice. Other features include the InstaView glass panel that lights up when you knock twice so you can see inside without opening the door, a Door-in-Door compartment for frequently used items, and Wi-Fi connectivity through the LG ThinQ app. At just under 300 pounds it is a two-person move, and it suits a family kitchen that already has a full-size 36-inch refrigerator space and a water hookup.
