What we found

This is an LG WDP6B laundry pedestal, a 27-inch-wide base that a matching 27-inch LG front-load washer or dryer sits on top of. It measures 27 inches wide, 25 3/8 inches deep and 13 5/8 inches tall, raising the appliance more than a foot off the floor so you are not bending as far to load and unload. Underneath is a 1.0 cu ft pull-out storage drawer with an internal divider and basket, useful for detergent, dryer sheets and small items; the drawer extends to about 43 7/8 inches from the wall when open, so allow clearance in front. It needs no electrical or water connection of its own — the washer or dryer bolts to the top of it with the supplied hardware. The finish is black steel, and at about 53 pounds it is a one-person carry but a two-person job to get an appliance up onto it. Suited to anyone with a compatible 27-inch LG front-load machine who wants a higher working height and a place to keep laundry supplies.
