This is a freestanding multi-level cat tree, the carpeted tower type with scratching posts, platforms and an enclosed box for a cat to sit inside. It needs no power and no wall mounting — it stands on the floor on its own base, so you just set it where you want it, ideally against a wall so it does not rock. Cat trees like this come apart and go back together with bolts through the posts, so it can be carried in sections in a car and put back up at home. It suits an indoor cat or two that scratch furniture or like to perch up high, and it works in an apartment corner or beside a window. Bring a tape measure for your spot and check the footprint and height in person before you load it.
