SOLGAARD 28" CHECK-IN

What we found

This is a Solgaard 28-inch large check-in suitcase, a hard-sided spinner with a polycarbonate shell over an aluminum frame. Its external size is 28.3 inches tall by 17.3 inches wide by 14.5 inches deep including wheels and handles, it holds about 91 liters, and it weighs about 12.3 pounds empty. The main feature is the removable FlowCloset shelving insert, a self-supporting stack of shelves roughly 41 inches high by 13.25 inches wide by 8.5 inches deep that lifts out and hangs in a closet so you can unpack in one motion; it also has compression straps, a zippered mesh pocket on the opposite side for shoes, a TSA-approved three-digit combination lock, and four 360-degree spinner wheels. At 28 inches tall it is a checked-bag size, not a carry-on, so it suits longer trips of two weeks or more or anyone who moves between stays and would rather not repack a dresser each time. Note that no power source or battery pack is needed for any of its functions.
